Because I Can

Ha, i think i have fallen in love....with Netflix hahaha. I already have a list of movies i have been wanting to see, and then i discovered an old part of me that i thought i would never relieve.

Back around 1998, the first show i ever followed and finished was Robotech. It was a simple animated show about a War against an alien race and the humans. The combat was mostly dog fighting (planes vs planes) or in this case humanoid robots known as Mechs. There was something about the show that kept me coming back every day. I finally figured it out when i found out that i was actually interested in the characters a lot more than the combat (i was 9 years old hahaha what else would i want haha)

The characters were so complex and amazing. Their interaction with each other was like nothing i had seen in a cartoon. When it got to romance, it was the first time i had experience feelings like these so exposed and honest. Yea i liked girls but the way the show portrays these emotions was very deep and powerful. It made me care for them.

Anyways...its kind of stupid but this show was part of my very young life. It taught me a lot about honor, friendship, duty, and responsibility.
